Waller respects Bowman’s decision to take a break

Champion trainer Chris Waller respects Hugh Bowman’s decision to take a break for the rest of
the season but believes it will have little impact on his operation. The jockey pulled out of Saturday’s
Gold Coast meeting and signalled his intention to take an extended break, citing exhaustion. “I respect
Hugh’s decision and he needs a break. However don’t forget this time last year Hugh went to Japan,”
Waller said. “We have a policy of spreading our rides around with jockeys both in NSW and Queensland
and it should have little impact on us.”

Race with The Freedman Brothers

This is an outstanding specimen, a colt by Written Tycoon with a stallion’s pedigree, free of Danehill, a real athlete.

He is a full brother to a stakes winner in Trump, and he is just an outstanding colt.

He has an outstanding walk, he is an August foal, he is so balanced and has unbelievable strength for a yearling at this time of year.

He is VOBIS eligible, he is in the Inglis race series, and he is a colt you can see running in next year’s Blue Diamond, he is a colt that can race for millions of dollars.

He will be trained by Anthony Freedman at Flemington who is a trainer that has built up an outstanding strike rate in Group 1 races, and he knows who to get the best out of his horses.

This is a serious colt that are rarely syndicated.
