Update On Bruce Purcell
Update from Jean Purcell
Well it’s been 8 weeks of hell, but thrilled to say “we are getting there!”
My husband, my best friend, my soul mate.
3 trips to ICU with a total of 3 weeks, with a combination of brain injuries, multiple skull and facial fractures (amongst others)
Pneumonia, and Sepsis, what a determined fighter he is. ♥️
It’s amazing how we manage to put one foot in front of the other at times like this, when all I wanted to do was curl up in a ball and let the world go by. I will never look at helicopters the same again.
My God the people around me are stupendous, Marnie Holloway, Julien Welsh, Kasey Besanko Tazzie Eggins Jason Dean. Ross and Bev Eddy
Ken and Jenny Breeze. Debra Thorne The RVL steward’s 🥰 The Cranbourne Trainers Club, the Cranbourne training Centre, the Cranbourne Turf Club, and the Australian Trainers Association, all my family that have held my hand and had my back.
But there is one special person who, without, I could not have coped – Teresa Gaudio you are amazing.
Thank you to all the beautiful messages of support, not a day goes by where I don’t get some sort of love, support, and wonderful thoughts sent to me from golfing friends, horse friends, dog-related friends, and random friends. Our world is a beautiful place, don’t let anyone tell you any different! – Jean.
