Trust In A Gust dies

Glen Eden Stud yesterday announced the death of their dual Group 1-winning stallion Trust In A Gust. A son of Darley stallion Keep The Faith (Sunday Silence), Trust In A Gust was bred by Swettenham Stud and landed both the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (Gr 1, 1400m) and Toorak Handicap (Gr 1, 1600m) in 2014 for trainer Darren Weir before retiring to stud in 2015.
“Trust In A Gust was a true champion in every sense of the word. His exceptional racing ability combined with his undeniable presence made him a favourite among breeders and racing enthusiasts alike,” said Adam Sangster of Swettenham Stud. “We are immensely proud to have bred such a remarkable stallion at Swettenham Stud with his dam, Subtle Breeze, still playing her part as a nanny on the farm.”
