Ten for Jimmy Creed
Spendthrift Farm shuttler Jimmy Creed (Distorted
Humor) was handed his tenth stakes winner on
Saturday courtesy of King Jack’s (3 c ex Light
Shine by Tapit) victory in the Gallant Bob Stakes
(Gr 2, 6f) at Parx. Trained by Jerry Hollendorfer
and ridden to victory by Joel Rosario, the colt
stayed on strongly inside the final furlong to
beat Landeskog (Munnings) a shade cosily by a
length and a half, with a break of 12 lengths back
to Trophy Chaser (Twirling Candy) in third. Jimmy
Creed is standing at Spendthrift Australia for a
fee of $8,800 (inc GST) this year and his progeny
are spearheaded by a quarter of Grade 2 winners.
