Stackhouse airlifted to hospital following a bad fall at Kilmore yesterday

Stackhouse injuries revealed the extent of Daniel Stackhouse’s injuries following a bad fall at Kilmore yesterday have been revealed. The Victorian Jockeys’ Association confirmed that early scans revealed left and right rib fractures, a small liver bleed and a small pelvis fracture.
Stackhouse was airlifted to hospital following the incident, which saw him fall from the Matt Cumani-trained Armansky (Mongolian Khan) in race four, an incident that also saw Dean Holland fall from Jodie Thompson’s More Saturdays (Needs Further).
Holland subsequently walked back to the jockeys’ room but was complaining of foot and knee pain and was stood down from his remaining rides that day. Both Armansky and More Saturdays were not seriously injured in the fall.
