SA trainer fighting for life after trying to save horses from fires

South Australian trainer and former Oakbank Racing Club’s Chairman John Glatz is fighting for his life in Royal Adelaide Hospital after suffering serious burns trying to save his horses and house from fires.

John Glatz who stayed at his house to protect his home and horses when a fire came through suffered burns to 60 per cent of his body and is in an induced coma at the intensive care unit at Royal Adelaide Hospital.
