He is being moved out of ICU today and going to a high dependency ward where he’ll continue to be monitored regularly,” Racing NSW said in a statement on their website yesterday. Scorse and fellow jockeys Courntey Van Der Werf and Jeff Penza all suffered serious injuries in the four-horse fall. Van Der Werf suffered a fractured level clavicle in the incident, while Penza sustained ten broken ribs, an injury to his lung and concussion in the incident.
