Parkour must pass vet check this morning before $3 million Magic Millions 2YO Classic

QRIC stewards’ advised on Friday morning that Magic Millions 2YO Classic runner Parkour will be re-vetted on Saturday morning following a veterinary inspection earlier on Friday ahead of raceday at the Gold Coast Turf Club.

The James Cummings-trained horse displayed an irregularity of movement in its right front leg.

The horse will be re-examined this morning and a final decision about its suitability to race will be made prior to scratching time.

in further news the Les Ross-trained Mishani Hercules has been scratched from the 2YO Classic after vets found the horse to be lame in the near foreleg.

The trainer agreed with the diagnosis and declined the opportunity to have the horse re-examined on Saturday morning.
