The 11- time Group 1 winner is coming off a second in the Ranvet Stakes (Gr 1, 2000m) to Montefilia (Kermadec) but Kheir believes she can bounce back on Saturday and cement her claims for a French raid. “She has to stand up again for us to make a call on the Arc,’’ Kheir told Racing.com.
“The reality is that if she doesn’t run to her best on Saturday then that probably won’t happen and then we’d have to decide whether to go on with her. (But) I do think she will be very hard to beat.”
