Jumps schedule released for 2020

The program has a very similar look to the 2019 season with $3.8 million in prizemoney on offer across a total of 61 jumps races 0 39 hurdles and 22 steeplechases – which is the same figure as was held this year.
Jumps trials wlll be staged from February 21 at Cranbourne with the first jumps meeting of the season scheduled for Warrnambool on March 12.
Warrnambool will stage six jumps meetings for the season – the same as in 2019 – with a minimum of $785,000 on offer in prizemoney for the jumps races over the three-day May Racing Carnival.
Pakenham will continue to host the Mosstrooper jumps day on July 19 following a successful first running of the meeting in July this year.
The season finishes again with the Grand National Steeplechase at Ballarat on August 23.
One of the minor changes to the jumps program is the inclusion of a jumps meeting at Sale, where the club plans to conduct three jumps races on May 12.
