Jockey Kevin Forrester suspected pelvis injury

Well-travelled jockey Kevin Forrester, 58, was yesterday taken to a Melbourne hospital with
a suspected pelvis injury after a trackwork fall at Cranbourne. It was later reported that
Forrester was undergoing surgery due to internal bleeding as a result of the fall. He has
not ridden in a race since January but had been associated with wet-track sprinter Jungle Edge
(Dubawi) in recent years.
