Coolangatta set to be shortest favourite in six years

Coolangatta could start as the shortest-priced favourite for the Magic Millions 2YO Classic since Capitalist (Written Tycoon) in 2016 after the final field was revealed yesterday.
Saturday’s contest currently has the filly as the $1.80 market leader with TAB after she has won both her starts to date, both Group 3 affairs. The two-year-old is not far off the $1.40 price that Capitalist started six years ago.
Meanwhile, the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas field was also finalised yesterday and looks a far more open contest, with I Am Lethal (I Am Invincible) the current $5.50 favourite. e Magic Millions Cup (RL, 1400m) has Kementari (Lonhro), trained by James Cummings, as the $5 market leader while Tony Gollan’s Isotope (Deep Field) heads into the $970,000 Magic Millions Snippets (1200m) as the $3.80 favourite before acceptances are finalised.
