Champion trainer Peter Moody provided an update on Jamie Kah after a “quick chat”
Champion trainer Peter Moody provided an update as to the wellbeing of Jamie Kah as she continues to recover from a major race fall last month.
“It was just great to hear her voice,” Moody told RSN. “I had a quick chat with Jamie which really put a spring in my step, myself and Anthony Mithen.
We kept it very brief, didn’t want to go into any intricacies. She said ‘it’s great to be home, I’m enjoying a bit of fresh air and I’m improving slowly’, which was great news.
Love and best to her and her family and a long road ahead but a safe road and look forward to seeing her back, whether that’s in three, six or 12 months. e one thing she did touch on and I hope I’m not speaking out of school is that she had a broken bone in her hand.
I said well the one thing about that is you’ve got two hands but only one brain so look after yourself. She is the biggest thing in our sport, Gai Waterhouse has been the queen, this is the princess and we’re going to need the princess to step up and be the queen one day. She’s the heir to the throne and we need her, so take all the time you like to recover, be as safe as all hell.”
