Alligator Blood to return to pretraining in March

Group 1 winner Alligator Blood (All Too Hard) could be back in pre-training by March after successfully recovering from spinal surgery, owner Allan Endresz has told Racing.com. “We’ve got the green light. He’s come out the end super and they’re saying early March we can start making preparations for pre-training,” Endresz said.
“We are really pumped. They’ve given him the complete once over…we were delighted (to hear the news) on Monday.” Alligator Blood, who won the Australian Guineas (Gr 1, 1600m) last year, will now be trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott and Endresz continued: “We don’t want to rush him. He’s a bit frisky and excited in the paddock. But he’s just got this real sense of wanting to run and carry on. But he will tell us (how far he wants to go). We will use the teams we have got for pretraining…and then we will focus on a trial and he will head on a truck down to Sydney and we will let Gai take over.”
