Chris Bieg takes the patient approach

In-form trainer Chris Bieg will take the patient approach with his two-year-old filly Dubenenko (Russian Revolution) and has admitted she will likely skip the Magic Millions series on the Gold Coast.

The daughter of Russian Revolution (Snitzel) will instead go for a spell after finishing third in the Magic Millions Ballarat 2YO Classic (1000m). “She’s very good, she’s gone straight to the paddock, I’ll probably go down and see her and make a decision next week on what we’re going to do with her,” Bieg told Racing. com.
“My gut feeling is we should hold her back and worry about Melbourne, the Magic Millions race series is just so good now, that’s not the only race she could get to, there are many races in years to come for her. Whether or not we bring her back in to push on or give her a little bit longer and head towards the Blue Diamond Preludes [I haven’t decided]. We’ll give her a crack at the Blue Diamond lead-in races, there’s also Magic Millions races in Adelaide for her.”
